Apply the five ideas to your small business presentation
FIRST, Please review the below presentation" McDonald's Speedee System:
Five Theorists in One Kitchen,
Then...
Choose a small business you can picture. A café, a hotel, a salon, a gym, a convenience store, or a fast-food counter all work. Give it a name, then list five jobs: one person who directs the work, and four people who do it.
Make six slides. Use these titles, in this order.
Slide 1: My business
Write the name, the type of business, and your five jobs.
Slide 2: Taylor — one best way
Describe one job a new worker does the same way every time.
Slide 3: The Gilbreths — less wasted movement
Describe one change that stops a worker from walking or reaching for nothing.
Slide 4: Gantt — the chart
Describe one chart, list, or schedule that shows what is planned and what is late.
Slide 5: Fayol — plan, organize, lead, check
Describe what the manager does in one shift: sets the work, assigns people, directs them, then checks the result.
Slide 6: Weber — rules and bosses
Describe one written rule, and who reports to whom.
A Word page is fine instead of slides. Use the same six titles as headings.
On each slide, write two or three plain lines a classmate could picture.
“We value efficiency” is not enough. “The pickle station is already at the worker’s hand” is.
